From The Cubmaster

From The CubmasterI hope everyone has had a great start to the cub scout year.  We have a tremendous amount of new scouts.  This is great.  I enjoyed meeting everyone at the pack meeting in September.  Maybe by December I will remember everyone's names.
The theme for October is "Adventures in Books".  We will be doing alot with books and stories.  Please encourage the boys to read a little extra and pick out a favorite book and share it at a den meeting.  If you are able to, take the boys to a public library so they can learn how things there work.
Popcorn is in full swing.  I hope everybody remembered to fax in any filled up order forms in hopes of winning the playstation 3.  I haven't heard who won the first one yet.
That is all for now, I hope to see you all at the October pack meeting.
